Failure to look after tires appropriately

• Failure to maintain correct tire pressures
• Exceeding appropriate loads defined by the vehicle manufacturer
• Towing recommended loads specified by the vehicle manufacturer through the use of a trailer/caravan
• Uncorrected balancing or tracking issues

Inappropriate use through

• Use of the tire for unsuitable means
• Use of defective/unsuitable wheels
• Use of tires where specification (in any area) is incorrect for the vehicle
• Use of tires on a vehicle where specialized tires are required
• Damage caused as a result of a vehicle defect or issue
• Damage caused as a direct result of through the use of snow chains, incorrectly used inflation devices, or the result of contact with materials or fluids

• Damage as a result of competition, driving in a race track or misapplication
• Damage as caused through the fitting or removal of the tire itself
• Continued use while under/overinflated

Other

• Acts of vandalism/theft
• Accident damage
• Willful abuse / collision / fire
• With less than 1.6 mm remaining tread depth
• Road hazards including without limitation, puncture, cut, impact break, stone drill, bruise, bulge, collision
• Premature or irregular wear due to vehicle mechanical conditions
• Ozone or weather cracking on tires over five years old from the date of manufacture
• With DOT number cut-out or buffed-off
• Loss of time or use, inconvenience or any incidental or consequential damage.
